The biggest thing to set foot on Route 66 in years will arrive May 11, with the official launch party for the Buck Atom Space Cowboy Roadside Attraction, which will be set up at Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios, 1347 E. 11th St.
The party, which begins at 10 a.m., will feature as guest speakers Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, local author and historian Michael Wallis, Abby Kurin, director of Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture; Joel Baker, owner of American Giant Co.; and Mary Beth Babcock, owner of Buck Atom’s Cosmic Curios on 66.
